Christmas tree brownie
This brownie is ideal for a cold winter's day with a cup of hot chocolate or tea. They are wonderfully sweet and deliciously soft on the inside.
Ingredients:
For 1 Christmas tree mold:
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 125 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 40 g pastry flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
Optional:
- 50 g hazelnut brittle
- smarties
Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Melt the chocolate with the butter in a double boiler.
Put the eggs in a bowl and beat them until fluffy.
Now add the sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix the batter well.
Meanwhile, stir the chocolate and butter mixture occasionally. Once the mixture is completely melted, you can add it to the batter.
Now mix everything well.
Grease the mold well so that it releases easily; especially in the sharp corners of the Christmas tree.
Pour the batter into the mold and sprinkle with hazelnut brittle. This provides a nice crunch.
Place in the oven for approximately 20 minutes.
After cooling, you can decorate the brownie.
