Welcome to ZijTak, your Flemish specialty store for delicious loose leaf tea, crunchy fresh nuts, and honest superfoods. What began in 2020 out of a shared passion for pure ingredients and experimenting in the kitchen has grown into the go-to place for anyone who wants to enjoy life consciously, healthily, and tastily.

We are Marie-Julie and Jeroen. Together, we dream, run our business, and build ZijTak every day from Kortrijk. Our mission? To offer high-quality, artisanal products that remain accessible and affordable for everyone, without compromising on taste or freshness.

Our Passion for Tea & Artisanal Blends

We are true tea lovers through and through. During the 2020 lockdown, we spent hours in our kitchen experimenting with loose tea leaves, dried flowers, and unique spices. We discovered that tea is so much more than just a warm drink on a cold day.

This is how, among other things, our very first herbal infusion was born: the ‘Ginny Lee’, a characterful blend of coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pink pepper (originally even conceived as a base for our own spiced gin!). Each of our tea blends is crafted with care and given a typical, playful name. Think of our Berry White (white tea with berries), Jasmina Jolly (elegant jasmine tea), or Ruby Rose (the classic red fruit infusion).

Homemade Iced Tea & Mocktails

More and more people are looking for a tasty and healthy alternative to alcohol or sugary soft drinks. With ZijTak's high-quality loose leaf tea, you can make your own fresh cold brew iced tea in no time:

• Steep 2 tablespoons of your favorite ZijTak tea in 1 liter of cold water in the refrigerator for at least 10 hours.
• Strain out the tea leaves and enjoy a 100% natural, sugar-free refreshment. Prefer it a little sweeter? Add a spoonful of honey or a sugar-free alternative.

Top tip from our customers: Let our Aura Bloom tea steep cold and top it off with sparkling water. This way, you can create a festive, non-alcoholic champagne-style aperitif in no time!
