Homemade limonade

Homemade lemonade

A crisp and fresh lemonade. Delicious in warm weather.

Ingredients:

For approximately 1 liter of lemonade

  • 5 (organic) lemons
  • 0.9 liters of (cold) water
  • 100 g sugar or honey

Preparation method:

Lemonade

Wash the lemons.

Set 1 lemon aside. Roll the remaining lemons over the work surface. This breaks the cells in the lemon, making the juice easier to release.

Cut the lemons open and squeeze them into a 1-liter carafe. Add the water and the honey/sugar. Stir everything briefly with a spatula.

Place the lemonade in the fridge to let it get nice and chilled. If you are short on time, serve it with ice cubes.

Slice the remaining lemon and add a slice to a glass or on the rim of the glass.

Enjoy!
